CrediMax Partners with Bahrain's eGovernment Authority for a
Kiosk Project 

  •  CrediMax to provide card payment infrastructure to the kiosks

CrediMax, Bahrain's leader in card business signed an agreement with the eGovernment Authority in Bahrain, for kiosk project to enhance access to eGovernment services which are currently available online. The kiosks aim to deliver eGovernment Services, are to be located in key strategic locations all over the Kingdom of Bahrain. CrediMax will play a role in facilitating the acceptance of card payments through these kiosks as part its many active roles in this project.

Online public access kiosks, located in key locations such as shopping centers and other public concourses are increasingly being viewed as one element of the interface between citizens, residences, visitors and governments all over the world. In particular, they have attractions in their potential to bridge the digital divide. 

These free easy-to-use kiosks will help citizens, residences and visitors reach online eGovernment services and enable them to perform various transactions easily. The kiosks will offer a new way of getting to the vast amount of services and information now available online.

Mohammed Malik, Chief Executive, CrediMax said “This is an excellent example of partnership working between public and private sector. The kiosks will make it easier for all citizens, residences and visitors to find the information and services they want at the touch of a screen and complete the payment of such services mainly by all types of cards.

The initial 35 Kiosks will be distributed in various locations which have been carefully selected beforehand throughout the Kingdom to enable the public to carry out their transactions from anywhere and at convenient times.
