Presented By His Excellency The Deputy Prime Minister CrediMax Wins The eGovernment Excellence Award 2010 As The Best ICT Solutions Provider

Manama  /5/2010- CrediMax, the leading credit card provider in the Kingdom of Bahrain has made another milestone by obtaining the eGovernment Excellence Award 2010 as the best ICT solution provider. The third session of the event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communications.

The award serves to praise the Company's role and performance in leading the market of e-transactions, and to emphasize CrediMax's uniqueness in consolidating the market with state-of-the-art safe and reliable e-payment technologies. It is also in recognition of its wholehearted partnership to support various e-government services in the manner conducive to achieving Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

CrediMax has been granted this award in appreciation of the Company's excellence in supporting the e-payment infrastructure system within the e-commerce services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is also for its ongoing support of the Government electronic initiatives, which aim at facilitating card acceptance through various payment channels such as the Internet, the interactive voice recognition (IVR) system, mobile phones, eGovernment kiosk, and other channels of e-payment provided by CrediMax.

The award was received by CrediMax's Chief Executive, Mohammed Malik, who expressed his delight for making this achievement and said: "CrediMax is proud of obtaining this award which reflects our market leadership and ability to utilize the technologies designed to facilitate e-payment in a manner reflecting its full understanding of business requirements. It also stresses the Company's direction of supporting this new type of business activities in a commendable manner."

The eGovernment award of excellence for the best solution provider of information technology and communications is a prestigious prize awarded to institutions contributing to the Bahrain Government information technology initiatives through providing relevant products, solutions and advisory services.
